The 5th International Conference on Environmental Pollution and Governance (ICEPG 2025) was successfully held in Qingdao, China, from December 12 to 14, 2025. This conference gathered over 100 experts and scholars from around the world in the field of environmental pollution and governance to engage in in-depth exchanges and discussions focusing on the latest advancements, innovative trends, and industrial applications in the discipline.

2025年12月12日至14日，第五届环境污染与治理国际学术会议(ICEPG 2025)在中国青岛成功召开。本届大会汇聚了来自全球环境污染与治理领域的专家学者100余人，共同围绕学科前沿进展、创新趋势与产业应用展开深入交流与研讨。

本届大会由青岛理工大学、同济大学环境科学与工程学院联合主办，青岛理工大学环境与市政工程学院承办，厦门理工学院环境科学与工程学院、河口生态安全与环境健康福建省高校重点实验室（厦门大学嘉庚学院）协办支持。

During the conference, participants engaged in extensive and thorough dialogues on the latest research findings, key technological breakthroughs, and future development pathways in environmental pollution and governance through various formats such as keynote presentations, breakout discussions, and poster exhibitions. This conference not only promoted the exchange and integration of academic ideas but also further strengthened the collaboration between academia and industry, providing an important platform for industry-academia-research cooperation in related fields.

会议期间，与会嘉宾通过专题报告、分会场讨论、海报展出等多种形式，就环境污染与治理的最新研究成果、关键技术突破及未来发展路径进行了广泛而充分的对话。本次会议不仅推动了学术思想的碰撞与融合，也进一步增强了学术界与产业界之间的协同互动，为相关领域的产学研合作搭建了重要平台。

Professor Liu Changqing, Dean of the School of Environment and Municipal Engineering at Qingdao University of Technology, delivered the opening speech on behalf of Qingdao University of Technology and the organizing committee, warmly welcoming all attendees. In his address, he expressed the hope that through sincere and in-depth academic dialogues and efficient, pragmatic cooperation at this conference, significant new breakthroughs could be jointly achieved in both theoretical research and engineering applications in the field of environmental pollution and governance. Professor Zhang Huawei from Qingdao University of Technology presided over the conference.

The conference invited four leading experts in the field to deliver keynote speeches: Professor Wang Jiancheng, Dean of the School of Environment and Ecology at Taiyuan University of Technology (a nationally recognized high-level talent); Professor Li Guangming, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department at Tongji University; Professor Li Jin from Qingdao University; and Professor Zeng Ming, Associate Dean at Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

大会邀请太原理工大学环境与生态学院院长王建成教授（国家级高层次人才）、同济大学科技处副处长李光明教授、青岛大学李津教授、天津科技大学海洋与环境学院副院长曾明教授等四位领域领军专家作大会报告。

The conference featured 24 poster sessions and a total of 29 oral presentations delivered both online and offline. Scholars from domestic and international institutions, including the University of Waterloo, the Environmental Planning Institute of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Qingdao University of Technology, Beijing University of Technology, Tongji University, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, shared their academic achievements. Professor Xiao Yihua from Qingdao University of Technology chaired the offline sessions, while Associate Professor Bian Rongxing presided over the online sessions.

会议设置24场海报展示、线上线下共计29场口头报告，来自滑铁卢大学、生态环境部环境规划院、青岛理工大学、北京工业大学、同济大学、上海交通大学等国内外高校单位学者分享学术成果。青岛理工大学肖宜华教授主持线下分会场，卞荣星副教授主持线上分会场。

To recognize outstanding individuals at the conference, awards were presented including the Best Paper Award (3 recipients), the Best Oral Presentation Award (3 recipients), and the Best Poster Award (3 recipients).
